Community Layouts
On my steam deck when I go to change the layout on a game within steam, there are plenty of layouts made by the community. Sometimes that holds true for Heroic games, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure if the games I'm trying to play are too obscure, or if they aren't being recognized by steam.
Is there a way to force steam to recognize Heroic games and make it default to the recommended layouts?

A few examples are Oxenfree, Hero's hour, Hyperlight Drifter (there is actually one layout on the community tab), and 20XX

try temporarily setting the game name to the steam app ID

I think I know the answer, but I need to be in desktop mode for that right?
Nope I don't. It works just fine it's just clunky
