im on sellpy's site and they have a whole bunch of sizings that dont correspond to any particular type of clothing, what does it mean?

what is the physical interpretation of this
ok why doesnt sellpy just do waist/inseam for pants
when buying secondhand online, do you just have to accept that you can't be certain what size an item is until it arrives
Good sellers on reputable platforms try to include measurements &/or tape measures in their photos, ideally.
sellpy has most measurements i guess but not all
Or they'll at least say if an S/M/L is true to size, runs small, or whatever. Easier with brands you can look up harder with vintage the older or more obscure it is
yeah i suppose you can become familiar with the sizing nuances of every brand you buy
Yea. This is a service where you send in items and they do all the work, right? I imagine the measurement quality varies heavily and what they'll measure is kind of standardised so that it's easy for workers to repeat and fill out info on the back end. No experience with sellpy so grain of salt etc
nah its just a marketplace for second hand clothes
I'd guess it's a consignment store since the photos are generally matching in the way they're taken, and from what they'll tell me without living in the EU you send all your clothes to them in a bag
yes looks like it
oh actually marrkt has some very detailed measurements
i dont know my measurements in this level of detail tho
You got any clothes that fit the way you like? See if you can take some measurements that are similar/match up, or call over a friend and do some guesswork with a tape measure on yourself (as long as it's not for a super formal item. If it is you probably should get fitted properly).
i have some stuff i know
like i know my chest is 39inches
and that i have a short torso
ill get a tape measure and double check some stuff
tbh might be worth to buy an item i think will fit and send it back if it doesnt
