Failed to connect 3 times
Hi All,
Recently I have been trying to connect to the server but am unable to. It attempts to connect 3x times in the span of 2-3 minutes and then says failed to connect; no error code what-so-ever.
Unsure if this is a known as I have reviewed the rest of the support requests and have found other issues relating to connection BUT having an error code.

if you go to https://1.1.1.1/ you can download the WARP client, its a free VPN provided by Cloudflare

I believe its linked to the recent glitch that forced peoples to connect via the f8 console you need to type manually the command to connect
Someone gonna drop it here i believe
You do it one time and thats all after you connect normally like always
I think its 23.137.58.241:30120
If thats what you mean; the IP?
Yeah open fivem press f8 and try to type: connect (ip)
@adzie.
Yeah; same outcome unfortunately. ☹️
Try a quick internet reset via windows?
Troubleshoot thing
It can actually work
On some internet box you can get another ip by unplugging it 30sec completely, try that also
@adzie.
I've just done the netsh winsock and what not; gonna try now.
Dang, I guess the netsh winsock + ipconfig stuff didn't work either...
Such a scuffed issue
Wierd
You tried by cable and wifi i believe
Yea
And with google dns maybe? Or cloudflare
I have 8.8.8.8 set atm
Gonna try and make an inbound rule to port 30120
In my firewall and see if that works
Changed dns to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 and still unable.. :/
Wierd
Maybe add some screenshot and a more pro person like a dev can help you better then me ✅
It can be anything at this point
Unfortunately it doesn't even show an error code 😭
The message is just this.
@Answer Overflow Resolve internet issue fivem
Some command needed i believe xd
well yeah, the only way that's going to work is if Cfx.re's DNS for the usual server ID (
vjarme
for #1) is down
"connecting via IP" isn't going to solve a connection issue between you and the server
it tells you what to do here: https://discord.com/channels/757544989507977246/1153286987898425404/1153286993321656320
but it's not, because that screenshot is at least 2 years old
try using a VPN, such as https://1.1.1.1/@adzie.
Alright well I'd have to give it a go in roughly 10 hours, going to work now..
But yeah that screenshot saying its 2 years old; I get the exact message
Changed DNS to 1.1.1.1 and also allowed the port of the server through my firewall
Unsure what this could be.
I’m having the same issue, been able to join and connect flawlessly in the past and about 3 or so weeks ago but won’t anymore, I’ve rebooted my modem and all the other trouble shooting methods and nothing changes the out come, pretty disappointing.
so you've tried using Cloudflare WARP as instructed above and it still doesn't work?
This is currently happening to me and I don't have a VPN to use 1.1.1.1, I only use 1.1.1.1 for my DNS

Thts amazing indidnt know too
Hella strange; will give it a go when I'm back from work.
VPN Worked?? Why is that
could be a routing issue
So strange; thanks though.
