Transparent outlined text

I'm trying to make a transparent outlined text with css, but some characters look weird. Is this because of the font or am I doing something wrong? code:

  .text-stroke-md {
    -webkit-text-stroke: 2px black;
    -webkit-text-fill-color: transparent;
}

  .text-stroke-md {
    -webkit-text-stroke: 2px black;
    -webkit-text-fill-color: transparent;
}

It is definitely an issue with the font. Use a different one.
