Linux download speeds (GOG)
Download speeds in Heroic (linux) seem to be really slow compared to GOG Galaxy (windows). Maybe Heroic linux is downloading in 1 thread, and GOG Galaxy in more than one?
Is there an option I might be missing to not cap or limit the downloads?

So, just as an update. It seems to be an issue in linux. Heroic Windows and GOG Galaxy windows download at kinda the same speeds (this is a screenshot from heroic windows)

Update 2: Download speeds on my Steam Deck (appimage) are around 50 MB/s, unlike my installation in Arch (aur, bin)
Nope, appimage has the same download speed as the AUR installation: slow. So it might be something to do with my installation.
reinstalled the NIC driver, used the wifi connection, and updated DNS to point to cloudflare and google in separate tests... No luck! Heroic linux just downloads slowly from GOG.

Downloaded the appimage build from https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/pull/3020, and the download speeds improve but not as much as expected. So it seems to be a problem with how gogdl downloads the packages in linux.

I'll look into it
but that might be just difference in how the progress is reported
keep in mind CDNs are overloaded by Cyberpunk update still

I don’t think it’s only that, as the download took a lot more time to complete, too.
