Best way to download VODS
What's the best way (thats safe) to download your youtube streams in the original quality? You can only do it in 720p from youtube studio and i want them in 1080p... Thanks!

What I've found is that most websites/software either only offer 720p as a free option, or they have file limit restrictions unless you pay.
If you're willing to pay, this used to be a Chrome extension that worked really well until Google banned YouTube video downloaders from their store so the devs made a it standalone software, it's $19 but.

yeah, ive only found free once with 720p too... that kinda sucks. But thank you, I'll take a look at it
There's good sites that I personally recommend like SSYoutube. It has a 720p option, but it has a software you can get for 1080p but..use at your own discretion when going for unknown files.
Use your OBS to record it in 1080p. Make sure your volume is all the way up, mic is muted, and stream is at 1080p. It's what I do since I can't record and stream at the same time.
Yeah I know... it's just very inconvenient when the stream is 3-4 hours long
you can make links for clips and have them posted to tiktok if you are on mobile
