Best high quality plain black t shirts?

I'm 6'1'', 175lb, and next level plain tees both L & M fit me pretty well. I wear a lot of black t shirts and I'm looking to get some nicer quality ones. I've had a couple from wolf vs goat, but they faded quite a bit and quickly. Next level tees are nice and soft, but looking for something where I won't have to buy a new one in a year or two. I saw some posts about american giant quality going down hill, so decided not to go with them. Looking for some other recs in a 30-70$ range

I really like the 2 tees I have from Standard Issue. But they are white/cream. I dont know how their dyes hold up long term

So you're looking for something on the thicker end of things?

Mister Freedom®
Stanley T-Shirt - Black
The Stanley T-shirt features a 40’s-50’s silhouette with 1/4 sleeves and a slightly boxy fit. We opted for a slubby and lightweight cotton jersey, reminiscent of vintage t-shirts. Our t-shirt is inspired by several vintage specimen and 40's USMC issued undershirts. T-shirt made in USA.

My personal fave. They have some factory seconds right now that i actually prefer the fit of and are barely different for $55 right now

Oh snap I forgot about the stanley. I also like the skivvy for lighter use

The skivvy is a great undershirt but the stanley is a more interesting fabric to me and stands on its own better

Yah the whole store has a lot of great stuff wish he had slightly larger size ranges though. The stanley tees are by far my favorite non vintage plain tee and totally worth the money IMO Mister freedom puts a lot of effort in their clothes

Sunspel if you can find it heavily on sale (could be hard to find on sale in black) They have sales every so often on their site and the store in NYC has a sales rack (they fit sortve slim so i think you want to size up) they're a lightweight almost silky supima tee btw

Paa is just slightly above your budget, but I really like their tees, and the dye has held really well on my black tee. Pocket tee is heavy weight and their Tee Two is a nice lightweight.

for heavy weight ones, i'm happy with uniqlo u so far but I bought them very recently I'm a little underwhelmed with the uniqlo supima tees for a midweight tee. I've heard good things about j crew's broken in tees for a midweight option. I also want to try COS's lightweight tees in the basic hard to find on sale colors to see how comparable they are to sunspel. i've heard good things about the brands people already mentioned, and I want to try 3sixteen and maybe lady white if on sale

is sunspel worht the price? I'm okay going above my budget if it's worth it, but if the extra 20-25$ isn't getting me a noticable difference, that's when I'm usually like nah. Uniqlo is okay, but honestly feels like a cheaper tee. i own a couple. I'm kind of looking for all different types of weights looking for both thicker and thinner, kind of just want a few new options
