I have wide feet, re-lasting of boots
Hej, I have wide feet, and have a pair of boots with a very narrow last. The boots fit quite well over-all but has since I put on a few kilos started to squeeze on the sides enough for it to hurt after a few minutes. Have any of you gotten leather boots re-lasted or just stretched professionally at a cobbler? How big of a difference did it make for you? Should I just sell the boots and get a pair with a wider last?

I imagine the deciding factor aside from the boot construction is going to be how much you paid for them versus how much a relast/stretching will cost
Thank you. Boots were around 500€. But I guess a first step could be to consult my local cobbler and ask for an estimated cost.
Definitely worth enquiring with them at those cost I'd say
good luck
As long as they aren’t shell it should be pretty easy to stretch them out a bit.
One width is possible with stretching, maybe even two. But it can take away a bit of volume.
