Imogene + Willie Henry Jeans weird butt

Hey folks! Just got a pair of the Henry Jeans from Imogene + Willie. These are a relaxed fit jean that I went with after finding that most Levi are too constricting in the crotch in addition to being too inconsistent. The I+W jeans fit fantastic on the waist AND amazing in the crotch. Could not ask for a nicer fit. But what the heck is up with the booty on these jeans? My butt isn't this pointy. Am I wearing these in the wrong spot? Is this a case of just needing to get the seat taken in? Thanks for anyone who has advice here.

The denim heads in chat probably know better but I would assume that will relax as the denim breaks in, are they stiff?

Oh yeah super stiff I've never purchased selvedge denim before so I'm unsure

too much space in the butt. if they're recent they'll be denim from vidalia. should have a tiny bit of shrink, and will break in. will sag and stop being a point after a wash and some wear

yup! from Vidalia luckily I'm covering the ass up today but I'll break them in by wearing them around the house until a wash

they look good. ime if you don't go for the hencye or barton slim cuts you end up with a bit of a diaper butt. just the way they do the top block for mens cuts. breaks in nicely fwiw

my tailor is pretty good, wonder if she could take the seat in on these while I'm getting the bottom hemmed

unfortunate. I can't do a slim cut, not with my thighs lol

totally fair, wouldn't stress this part of the fit at all. will settle and they already look great! plus the massive pockets on I+W have been a gem for me
