this means the 5$ monthly fee is not waived and you have to pay the subscription price
this means the 5$ subscription fee is waived and you do not have to pay the subscription price

well then you know you have to pay the fee, and if its not there, then you dont have to pay the feewhat dictates what user has it waived and which not?
have paid a non zero bill, account was in good standing, active github, etc
through this was all determined once weeks before August 3rd

Nah Github verification has been around forever
It was less strict until ~3 months ago, then got much more lax with the new hobby plan
yeah forever with my goldfish brain
thats crazy i never noticed it until last week
well there is no github verification on hobby and above fwiw
There is still a check for red flag repos, but there isn't any required activity
