Re-syncing images deleted externally?
I recently imported a large number of photos, without realising that these contained thumbnails generated by some other app I've long since stopped using. Of coure this resulted in a ton of duplicate images in Immich.
I've now deleted these (outside Immich) but I'm struggling to sync those changes back to the library. I know that with external Libraries there's a library option to "Remove Offline Files", but that's not an option for the internal library. I also tried running a refresh of the "Library" job
How do I get Immich to check for any deleted files, and remove them?

Check the library documentation
You can only delete and re sync external libraries. Upload libraries do not currently have this functionality
Understood. I was able to clear these out in the database directly without too much hassle. Many thanks!
I did - if I check the Libraries page I don't see any mention that assets should not be deleted or edited outside of Immich as those changes won't be sync'ed. The majority of info on that page is about External Libraries, and as those do sync those changes (falsely) led me to think it was generally supported.
Not a criticism - its an incredible project, and I do always try to RTFM so as not to waste the team's time. Sorry if I did so on this occasion.
