What's a "cool" denim fit right now?
Bought a pair of APC PS earlier this year without thinking too much about it. Had some butler program credit for an old pair of PNS and wanted something wider, so the store lady suggested PS. They're not bad but I've grown to really dislike the low rise.
What's a normal-ish but also in-trend fit? Would something like Acne 1996 be too skinny for what's in right now?

i think straight leg is definitely a great fit right now, maybe closer to the APC Standard.
I really dig Sugar Cane 1947s, TCB 50s, Fullcount 0105. Naked & Famous True Guys are nice.
I don’t think APC has any more current cuts
Seconding ler on a simple straight leg or even just a higher rise minimal taper
Good suggestions above. Warehouse Lot 1001s, Tender Co 125s, Dawson Wide Leg, Indigofera Kirk, and Scott Fraser Wide leg also dope
Just to confuse things further, TCB 30s another great wider cut
APC martins are very current
I just got a pair
Relaxed cut with moderate rise
do you have any fit pics? They seem kinda slim in pictures. Also, are these not selvedge?
Mine are too big rn I have to get them hemmed but no they aren’t slim I’d say they’re relaxed.
Nope not selvedge. Does that matter to you? And why?
I see, thanks!
Idk, at that price point I usually tend to look at details like that
Something I like seeing if I cuff my jeans
I think it’s not that important tbh
It’s just a strip
to each their own, I guess
