Witchfire runs on Deck, but not on Manjaro

The game runs pretty much normally on the Deck, but won't run on my desktop with Manjaro. Depending on the version of Wine/Proton there seems to be a different error (the most successful seems to be the Proton family (Experimental runs the game on Deck and on desktop the game remains blank black window for around 15-30 sec to show a fatal error window) while the recommended Wine-GE latest flashes the window briefly and quits with no error. But I'll provide logs for the latter now as it's said to be the recommended thing. I use non-flatpak Heroic here, but on the surface it seems to make no difference, as outcome is the same. The non-flatpak sees more Wine/Proton versions available in the system though edit: I couldn't post this apparently because of the log file, I'll provide it in a different way shortly

My suspicion is that your problem is due not to software but to hardware/drivers i.e. AMD GPU in the Steam Deck versus Intel Arc GPU in your desktop computer.

Yeah, I basically wonder at this point how compatible it is as someone on reddit suggested to me, too. But at the same time in general I had a better luck than on AMD with Intel, stuff going well with less tweaking. So even if no one can provide any good solution here, I'd appreciate if I could get a contact to someone with a deeper insight who could say that "yeah, this is not covered and needs to be worked on by someone, so now <says where to report or who to write to> On the other hand when I tried running the game with proton the log inside Heroic seemed to complain mostly about gstreamer components, which I should have in place as far as I could see from the packages that are installed on my system. On the other hand though, I tried to search for plugins the log complained about and...

For me enabling preffer sys libraries makes it run. Maybe 1 or 2 times it won't launch but it does by the 3rd time
