Menswear Is A Fandom (At Least To Me)

https://alittlebitofrest.com/2023/10/08/the-fandom-of-it-all/ I read Kaitlyn Tiffany's book "Everything I Need I Get from You: How Fangirls Created the Internet as We Know It" and it reminded me how my past participation in internet fandom culture inspired and continues to play a part in how I engage with menswear. I've always wondered why I did this whole menswear thing in a way that wasn't about getting dressed for work and fandom was the answer. hopefully this is an interesting read and not offensive to my other classic menswear compatriots LOL

Omg the Gokushufudou cosplay! Speaking of this topic I think I figured out how a dormant bug for classic menswear first got planted in my head - it's Tintin (not necessarily the main characters: everyone) Older psychotherapy had things along the lines of, your neuroses/passions go back to childhood in some way and maybe that's true much of the time lol

I wanna write about Tintin! I definitely had a similar experience Intentional and expressive menswear that was different than what was in the mall or@so Definitely got me hooked!
