Similar cut, but 100% cotton vs. 68/30 cotton/poly and to my eye they have a very different sheen
IIRC dickies life is a little bit like Carhartt WIP or Stan Ray UK -- while there might be some overlap in core products, it's generally a more upscale, higher priced version that focuses on streetwear rather than pure work durability.
