Yikes.
So I guess there's nothing I can do?
Yea, railway is working on fixing it right now as I understand
This feels terrible not knowing what's going on or how to help.

2h ago?? jesus
looks like it's back on now
ok, attempting restart
Fail
Unable to restart Postgres
App is still down.
Ok, db restarted
Everything should be back. Can you confirm your database is connectable?
Yes, connecting now
Wow, that sucked.
Yes appologizes about that. We are investigating the root cause and putting measures in place so it doesn't happen again
We've conducted a full post mortem on the platform side here. Posted it at https://discord.com/channels/713503345364697088/846875565357006878/1162544323942948875
Once again, apologies for this and we're available if you've got any questions!
We'd recommend upgrading to use a Service + Volume. Please reach out on Discord if you're affected and we will help you with the above.Where can I learn more about this?
https://railway.app/template/postgres
Should just be able to deploy that and do a dump/restore
I'm confused. I'm have postgres already. That's how this whole problem started. Service to Postgres went out and my app went down.
If I understand correctly, you were likely using a legacy generation 1 version of postgres on railway
the people using those were affected, by getting postgres from that template you'll have the new version ( service + volume )
Bingo!
