$30-50 overshirts in the US
Hi everyone! I’ll be visiting the US in a week (LA area), and interested to do some shopping. I’m a huge fan of overshirts, and so far I only have ones from zara & uniqlo as these are the best ones available in Asia (not fond of H&M).
With that being said, what are good stores to buy overshirts from? Preferably not too thick as I’d still like to wear them back home, but I’d want them to be cool/unique enough to be worth the purchase.
Looking to buy around 2 to 3 shirts with the price range above per piece.
Thanks!!

$30-50 won't really get you anything that's not a mall brand. Maybe check out LL Bean. However if you're visiting LA, you should have some great thrifting / secondhand options. If I were you I'd up thrift stores and consignment stores in the area you're visiting
At which price point could I get something decent? I dont mind spending a bit more if it’s good quality ig
Also will check out the thrift stores around the area, thanks for the tip!
You'll probably have to at least triple your price range for something better than mall brands
But check out Wasteland while you're in LA and you can probably find something great in your price range
Online only but might be able to get some outlier shirts you can wear as an overshirt
Not sure if epaulet has a storefront but think they’re out there
Second-hand for that price range. I recommend spier&mackay and epaulet, but the former is online-only and has to ship.
But generally any decent clothing store probably has overshirts. Figure out material, weight, pattern... but $30-50 is unreasonable I think in the US. Either gonna be junk or a good sale.
Thanks for the recos, epaulet and spier&mackay look hella cool...I now see what you guys mean about the price range lol
loving the look of the sashiko jacket from epaulet...200 bucks tho patterns caught my eye, same with the herringbone. We def don't have those over here
I have a sashiko jacket from epaulet (though I'm fairly sure it's a different sashiko jacket than what they sell now.) Big fan of it. Yeah it's not $50 for sure. I got it secondhand for about $100
