Merino Socks

I'm looking into getting some merino socks in the eu. Pricing wise what should I expect to pay and who sells decent pairs?

Probably €15+ a pair. I expect to pay £15-25. I buy mine from outdoor sports brands which might not be the style you're going for but DeFeet and Rapha make good ones that should be available in the EU vs some of the US recommendations.

Have not considered the style probably just going for simple socks

I find anything much cheaper than that doesn't last too long.

makes sense. Currently looking into it because I also want to buy some boots

I wear taupe coloured Smartwool™ light hiking socks. Colour is fairly versatile and they are both warm in colder conditions and breathable in hotter ones. Also quite thick, so they shouldn't wear out too quickly

Calze sabas are the best socks money can buy in the EU in the price range up to 30€. 100% wool if you want. Or a bit more durable blends as well. A pair is around 10€ if you use the newsletter code. If you want thick ones I can also recommend the Falke "Teppich im Schuh" range

Pedmeia in Portugal has quite nice wool socks at very reasonable prices, so far I haven't found them less durable or well made than my Doré doré ones.

Pedemeia is nice as well, but no comparison to the Italian makers. I have a lot from Pedemeia as well though, they have some nice designs.
