Do navy accessories clash or not fit with anything?
Does a navy hat/scarf still work with black clothes or is it better to go black on black?
Is navy with green ok? I know people are funny about blue and green.
I asked this before an got the answer that navy and black work well with most things but I am really asking if I should strongly consider a black scarf instead of navy to wear with black/green clothes.

literally never heard of blue and green being a weird combo who tf says that?
"Blue and green should never be seen" is an old "rule of thumb".
bruh that's literally about painting boats green
How can the sky and trees be a bad color combo?
It's a dumb saying I know.
But my q is really, is navy on black a good look or is it in the valley of too close but not matching that it looks off? Is black and green better or worse with a touch of navy?
Rules only matter if you're wearing formal clothing
It’s hard to give good answers about color coordination without any context e.g. what garments, fabrics, occasion, etc
It'sI like black accessories since I think they can ground an outfithardimpossible to give good answers about color coordination withoutany context e.g. what garments, fabrics, occasion, etcpictures
Black knit tie
black knit tie and shoes
but like a navy scarf is also gonna be great
OK this is really fair, let me drop some pics when I can
And for context, my other scarves are all a bit smarter, coloured and patterned so I am looking for a block colour to fill the gap in my wardrobe.
Do you feel like it's a gap bc you want to wear one and don't have it?
I think sometimes blue and green that are touching form an odd set of colors. Like a striped tie with blue immediately adjacent to green can look weird. It's a decent rule of thumb, not to not do it, but to take a second glance and make sure it'll work decently.
If there's a gap between the colors then nothing to really worry about, as always, just make sure you like how it looks and go for it ...

Idk I just think attempting to discuss color combos in theory makes zero sense. There's no context. No way to determine fit, texture, tone, etc. A pale green shiny nylon is nothing like a faded olive cotton ripstop fabic is nothing like a deep green brushed knit is nothing like olive shell cordovan.
Plus it takes like 2 seconds to hold items up next to each other and make a judgement call.

Liam wears his own Drake’s Made to Order suit in a heavyweight fresco wool, along with a striped poplin shirt, and repp tie in pure silk.

Yeah, I want one (black or navy) to wear especially because I have some outfits that my current scarves might not work with, also really feeling like getting more block colour clothes atm.
The blue and green thing is the classic rhyme as reason
I don't think I am colorblind but that looks like forest green and a lighter olive green, not blue and green?
I mean the grey suit is the issue here. Not the classic repp tie
Also doesn’t pass the eye test. No need for a weird rule about finding capsized ships in the ocean
I saw a lot on google images and none of those blue-green stripes worked for me, regardless of suit. I think the suits are fine at first glance (let's not get into the details of lapels, shoulders/arms, etc) but the ties stood out as a 'no'
But yeah I can buy that this is a stupid "i-gent rule"
My main issue with rules is that the nuance immediately goes away. Obviously the Drake’s tie I linked is better than the ones you linked. But to people reading the rule it becomes “no green and blue together ever bc color theory/rules” which is obviously wrong
Yeah I'm not much a fan of hard rules because there are exceptions to everything. To me, a rule basically means "a lot of people think x; find out why and double check your work"
