Heading to Toronto (from the UK) - any shops I should hit up?

I'm thinking that the Canadians might do better clothes for cold weather, many years ago I got a jacket from Canadian The Gap that looked thin but was deceptively warm. But even if you have non-warm recs, I'd love to hear!

Lost & Found, Blue Button, Haven, Uncle Otis, Park & Province, Muddy George For consignment, I Miss You Man is slay right across the street from Lost & Found For more utilitarian, less fashion, MEC The Bay and Harry Rosen are bigger department stores with lots off things to look at as well

Yeah, let us know what kind of things you're looking for and we can specify but @fauxhemian has it pretty well covered. It sounds like you're asking for... Canadian winter-wear, though?

A few more. Nomad more or less belongs with the first set up shops. Lots of cool stuff. Reigning Champ is Canadian made but leans heavily into athleisure. Klaxon Howl has both vintage and they do their own clothing as well. Latre Art and Style has a lot of cool milsurp/vintage pieces, sometimes the Canadian stuff as well but stock varies a lot. arcteryx oes have a few shops here as well

For those who asked what I usually wear: I am in the middle of a bit of a wardrobe rebuild so I don't really have a strong sense of fashion - so looking for any and all suggestions as I'd like to just browse and find what I look for, I currently just wear whatever I have been given for free by friends and family members over the years or the occasional thing from uniqlo

Great list. Lost & Found is a go to for me. On a great street, as well.
