Custom Domain Not Available
Hello,
After deleting and recreating a service it seems the previously used custom domain cannot be re-added to the new service (says "Not Available").
Would it be possible to get this free-up please? The domain is "api.theaissist.com" and the service ID is 85fd8b7e-8a66-4d75-948e-0b5b4d08fe90

528ae28a-951a-403c-a2d8-5c323fd087feIt says "Not Available" when the domain in question is already used by railway as a custom domain
try removing the DNS records that you had to add to it for railway and make sure no other project is using the domain
Already done both
And DNS has already propagated properly

I honestly don't know how to do this, it seems like an issue that this can even happen. I will poke at the database and see if I can find something to delete!

this is not the first time ive seen this happen, from my experience its railway not releasing any associated domain(s) on a service when deleting the entire service or project without first removing the domain(s) from the service manually
i see this, clicking asks me to log in
Good, linear is private but I don't care that you see I made this an issue
Found the right database table, asking to confirm that I can clear all records for that domain without breaking something else.
it may be worth it to ask the thread creator to add a verification txt record to their domain? but if you can see that their account has used that domain before then no point
yeah, I will add that to my ask, I think I can just line up the account with the domain, but otherwise good call. We can't just be deleteing domains on request from discord

Railway is an infrastructure platform where you can provision infrastructure, develop with that infrastructure locally, and then deploy to the cloud.

you can remove it before attaching to the new project
unless we are wrong and this is the new project but that doesn't make sense

Actually it might be my colleague who accidentally recreated the project in his personal account... Let me ask him
