Average Interview Rates for Developer?
So I've been looking for a job for a a little while now, and I noticed interviews are few and far between. But I hear other developers talk about how they had the chance to consider 2-3 job offers at once.
So I'm curious, what would you guys say is the typical experience when looking on the job market?

I can't declare what it 'typical', but I can give you my anecdotal statistics as a mid-senior level dev comparing to previous job search periods
- 317 applications this round of searching
- 2.87% success rate for initial call; BEFORE, ~15-20%
- 22.2% success rate to continue past initial call. BEFORE, ~95%
- 0% success rate to final stage/offers; BEFORE...higher than 0
- 0% success rate on LinkedIn/email reach outs
My (anecdotal) analysis is that this is the toughest time we've had in getting a coding job and it's not even close. I've also noticed that everyone across the board has become less helpful and giving to the community and that's observed from the 0% contact success rate and all but one of the companies that I was in contact with ghosting me (even after talking for a few weeks/multiple rounds of interviews).
TL;DR - It sucks eggs
Hmm... So basically it's just companies wanting to look marketable but really aren't interested in hiring
Guess my job hunt will be awhile. Maybe I'll transfer internally at some point then
I'd say my numbers are pretty close to Circus. Looking at senior / eng management.
I'm currently at a junior level
Only started in the field a year ago
I am a fresher and looking for a job currently , any tips for me 🥲
Um... Well I'd say practice interviewing an try to code a little every week to keep up with your skills?
Unfortunately I'm on a sales/IT hybrid team that just happens to have a few internal tools, so I'm not even an official SE role yet
Why I'm looking around too
You could get a random job in the meantime to cover any expenses you have, just so you're not worried about money as much
