A power surge when I turn off my printer.
As the title suggests, I experience a power surge when I turn off my printer. I don't think this is good for my SKR board. Does anyone have any suggestions for a solution?

Seems that somewhere in your path, you have a cap that's discharging after you power off... Start eliminating unnecessary devices until you identify what is causing it. Looks like it's on the AC side given that the power supply seems to pulse after you disengage the breaker

I had the same problem, replaced the power supply and now is not doing it anymore
This is a PSU issue. I have one of those. RMA ASAP.
How many time do I have to have an RMA beacause I got the printer 2 years ago or so.
Yeah that would make it out of warranty unfortunately. 2 years exactly. Fortunately a new one isn't expensive.
There's nothing inherently dangerous about this (as far as i know), but it can kill your electronics over time and corrupt the data on your pi's SD card (if that's how your pi is powered).
The way I connect all this the only part that maybe can be damaged is the printer board. And just for information I contact RR and they will ship a new one ! That's a good one RR. Thanks for the reply that helped ! 🙂
