Issue with MySQL Service

What happened with MySQL Service? A week ago he was completely second. How now can I create a database server? It used to be much easier. They only made it worse. They haven't warned about the update yet.

Of course, this dismissal is sad. I haven't worked with the railway for literally a week, and there are already such changes that I have to learn again and think about what. and even in the documentation there is no update on database services They added a bunch of features that are not in the documentation. And how to understand exactly what changes there were, what was important changed. How is it possible to irresponsibly turn to customers who pay money I understand that updates are good, but why not write about it? Why not update the documentation. Instead of quickly reading the documentation, I have to sit and write help messages in discord

I have played a bit today with a new setup of database and I found the connection details in the variables tab. I have to agree it was easier before with the "connections" tab, I liked it much more than it is now and dunno what happens if I delete the variables by mistake, how I will know my connection details? I guess it's somewhere else

If I delete the old Redis, will I never be able to install it again? Will you have to use the updated one?

New update is really piece of shit... Why break and spoil something that worked perfectly and was convenient?

There's a Changelog post about it Now DB's are a service, and not a plugin anymore Allowing them to have multiple versions and region selection.

Yes I see. But before it was possible to conduct SQL queries directly from the railway

The Data tab wasn't really consistent, it had a lot of issues U better use a DB Client TablePlus, Beekeeper, DBeaver... And u still got the Data tab btw Just no more queries

there where multiple changelogs that mentioned railway would be moving to databases as services, and there was even a blog post

furthermore, the old database plugins deployed docker images under the hood, just old versions of the databases, with the new databases you can connect to them over private network and move them to different regions unlike the old plugins if you want to use an older version of redis, you should be able to just swap out the image in use by the redis service for an older bitnami image
