Grand Theft Auto V Running badly
Salutations. I'm on a Steam Deck, and Grand Theft Auto V has a very weird performance issue
If I use the lowest end config, the 512mb vram config that makes the game look its worst, I get 45 fps on average
If I use normal graphics or high, I get 50 fps on average
No matter what graphics I use, I am stuck between 45-55 fps.
Any suggestions?

The game settings are as follows:
Everything is set to Normal
Soft shadows are set to soft
Ped variety and amount is set to minimum
Distance scaling is Minimum
Game was ran in Desktop Mode
but at the same resolution as the deck
1280x800
When inside a building, I get around 70-90 FPS
When standing still outside, around 60.
When driving around, 45-55
No matter what settings I use
Is this normal?
Is there some way to get the frametimes, and the stability of the game to be more solid
and to somehow have a stable 60 fps
Thank you.

As an example, here is this video that kinda proves it runs worse for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZQwcccXsc8

A lot of settings are set to very high
and the ped variety is max
and long shadows are on
Yet, they get kind of a stable 50 fps
well, 45-50
Is the game somehow designed to have the same performance no matter what settings it has?!
