after installing special characters dont work
not all of them but also Z < i copy and pasted

maybe you accidentally switched from QWERTY to QWERTZ?
try typing the letter "y", if "z" appears instead, that would be the issue

im pressing "z" and just nothing happens
did you reinstall to see if mechakeys is actually causing that? uninstall, restart your PC, and try typing again
we don't do anything that would prevent keys from being able to type, so it might be a different program at fault. also try a using a different keyboard if you're able to
and i dont think it would stop dash, slash, semi colon and the quote key from working
i restarted then uninstalled
imma restart 1s
still doesnt work

it might not be mechakeys
now it just started spamming the backspace

prob just coincidence
maybe ur keyboard is broken or stuck or something
it worked perfectly fine before mechakeys and the razer update
my keyboard can't be broken
Mechakeys only makes 4-5 changes to ur computer:
- 2 app data directories
- a desktop shortcut
- registers its path
- may install an official microsoft redist if not installed already
none of those could cause the issue and ur the only one experiencing this. Unfortunately we cant help debug ur machine for unrelated issues. i’ll be closing this as resolved
