if the browser doesn't show up you can try 2 things:
- change your system's default browser (try the options you have, if you don't have firefox install it and try with it too)
- use winetricks to install ie8 inside the game prefix, that should make the ie8 browser appear and you can get the URL from there and open that one in your real browser
