flatseal necessary?
The documentation for using heroic on deck is unclear about how using the flatpak actually impacts normal functionality. It makes it out to be that you need to add certain directories to permissions for the container in flatseal just to use it at all - is this the case, and what are they if so?

That case is already covered (Heroic has access to
/run/media/
and /mnt/
by default). You'd only have to mess with Flatseal if you're doing something really uncommondependent-tanOP•2y ago
ok, thanks y'all. the documentation is imo ambiguous enough it makes it sound like the flatpak version is gimped in some way

Only in ways flatpak apps generally are.. aka needing permissions that arent common

I did need to use Flatseal to run a generic installer which was in
~/Downloads
.
