Heroic asks me to downgrade?

I downloaded a new update for Heroic. But when I open the .deb package in Eddy, it asks me to downgrade heroic. My current version is 2.9.2, while the download is 2.10. Is this intended behaviour, and if not what am I doing wrong?

The installed version in the Eddy screenshot is 2.10.0, correct? and the "update available" screenshot is from the old Heroic 2.9.2 launcher? if so, I don't see what's wrong here

That would be an issue of whatever Pop OS is using for package management Not a Heroic one

popos probably thinks 2.10 comes before 2.9, it's probably using alphabetical order and not semver order, not something we can fix unless it is comparing semver but we are reporting it incorrectly somewhere?

so is this only a naming issue, or would I face problems if I update?

I imagine it's just a naming issue, if you update and you see 2.10 in heroic then you are fine would be useful if that popup shows the versions from and to, but I don't use popos so I can't say for sure

heroic updated successfully, thank you. Where should I report this bug tho? Is it even a bug?
