AI Opinions and Concerns in Q4 2023

Minor nitpick, but you should have made those things radio buttons instead of checkboxes. Also a lot of those questions seem kind of redundant, and I'm not sure what "show score?" does.

I wish it had more correlates, e.g. what's your background / degree ? Do you think ASI is possible ? Likely ? soon ? Are you concerned about climate chang e? other AI risks like job loss ? etc.

Why radio buttons? I collected opinions I've read or heard people say to try to get a wide range. It's not all a scientific approach. Not sure about show score, will look into it. Thanks for participating.

Radio buttons means you can only pick one, which makes sense for agree/disagree/not sure. Checkboxes are for when it makes sense to allow several.

I have a lot of opinions about surveys, and have ran a few (mostly for work), I'd gladly give input but if that's distracting / nitpicking I don't want to bother you either.

When I took the survey a few days ago, I sometimes chose Agree and Not Sure together (or Disagree and Not Sure together) to hedge my certainty. If that's not how it was intended to be used, future surveys should have a different design.

Ah, thank you, I'd forgotten that and check boxes are the defaults I believe so I just went with it. I think I'll probably start focusing more on messaging and PR for the group, but the survey was a fun spot exercise for me and maybe useful for others.
