if you change your prefix your saves will not come with it.. also if you delete your prefix it will delete your saves, fwiw you probably want to ensure you have all the dependencies installed, this looks like avideo codec missing do the dependency step here https://discord.com/channels/812703221789097985/1044301598018515105

where do i download it? the avideo codec i reinstalled the dependencies it didnt work i have saved my prefix before deleteing it i hope my save is still there 🙏

Its been loadind since forever This sh1t finally launxhed i couldnt get back my save but i can spend 7 hours of my life again playing this :D :/ though for me it didnt open in a browser it opened as a overlay for the game

is there a pfx folder inside your prefix folder? that's another prefix that's specific to proton you can copy your saves from it

copy to where? to the eternal threads folder? or should i delete the files from the eternal threads folder and copy to that?

first find the save file then copy it to the identical location but just without the pfx folder in the path so if it is ~/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Eternal Threads/pfx/a/b/c copy it to ~/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Eternal Threads/a/b/c

i copied the files from /home/admonito/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Eternal Threads/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Temp/Cosmonaut Studios Limited/EternalThreads/ to /home/admonito/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Eternal Threads/ and i copied the files from /home/admonito/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Eternal Threads/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Cosmonaut Studios Limited/EternalThreads/ to /home/admonito/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Eternal Threads/ i have only copied from the users folder i didnt copy from "program files (x86)" because it has steam files which the game needs to run the windows folder has things like system32 folder and .dlls
