Eternal Threads - Black Screen launching game

sorry for previous post without log file. I want to play the game Eternal Threads from Epic Games, but after running the game I get a black screen and won't continue Im using Proton GE Game have Platinum Status in ProtonDB Web Site OS - Linux Mint

when you open the game, do you have your webbrowser popping up asking you to authorize the app to use your epic account?

yes i can do that, but after that i am getting black screen steam players have no issue with game

that shouldn't be a problem one difference is that I have an AMD GPU, not Nvidia

the only things I see different from your logs and my settings are that I don't use GameMode (I see gameMode: true in your logs), and I don't use NVAPI (since I'm on AMD)

hmmmm try using the AppImage version from https://heroicgameslauncher.com/downloads I just tried with the flatpak and I had the black screen

and with the app image it worked download the appimage, then right click the file > properties > mark it as executable you'll have to re-login to epic and then when you go to install the game, instead of installing it click the Import button so you don't have to re-download the game

- open heroic with the appimage - login - search for the game in your library - open the install dialog - click the Import button in that dialog (next to the button to install the game) - search for the game folder in your hard drive (usually in ~/Games/heroic) - open the folder

Hello I also have a similar problem but it's a bit different. I start the game, then the browser opens, asks me this over and over again even if it's already allowed & then I'm stuck in the black screen after the epilepsy warning has finished showing.
