Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days (GOG) is not launching
Hi. I am trying to play my copy of Kane & Lynch 2 that I just bought on GOG and it isn't launching on Heroic.
I clicked Play and it says "Playing (Stop)" for a second before going back to Play. I made sure to use a non-Proton version of Wine and I installed all the dependencies on the GitHub page linked in the FAQ before attempting to run the game. I think it's also worth noting that I have the same problem with a few other games.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

i'm not sure what the OpenAL32.dll is, but you could try installing dependencies mentioned here #:pushpin: Read Me First | Frequently Asked Questions and then delete the prefix directory. after that, verify the game files
if it doesn't verify the game files properly (if it finishes immediately), send a log

I made sure I installed the dependencies, yes.
The game works when running via Lutris. It also works on Steam as a non-Steam game. I would like to play on Heroic because I like its features and interface.
I will try deleting the prefix and verifying the files.
I got it working! I had to run the installer exes from the redist folder contained in the game directory.
A silly oversight on my end. Solved.
