extended-salmonOP•2y ago
yes
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
are you using hyperland or hyperland-nvidia?

extended-salmonOP•2y ago
i am using hyprland
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
hyperland-nvidia has nvidia specific fixes, try using that instead
i think those drivers are already up to date

might be an issue with hyprland
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
Which is why I said to install hyprland-nvidia
absent-sapphire•2y ago
they are using AMD integrated graphics tho
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
If it goes away with the nvidia patches, problem solved, it they don't it's probably hyprland
genetic-orange•2y ago
But it still happens when they use amd graphics? So that obviously wouldn't fix it
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
it's an iterative process that i'm suggesting. try to stay on hyprland with the correct patches, then switch off if you have to. i think it's worth a try
genetic-orange•2y ago
But obviously you don't need nvidia patches when running on amd?
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
his dedicated graphics card would, i'm saying try with the dedicated one and the correct version
genetic-orange•2y ago
But the same artifacting shows up on amd only
So that rules that out surely?
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
not necessarily, we don't know that it's the exact same
he only videoed on amd
genetic-orange•2y ago
@Mannat Singh is it the exact same on both amd and nvidia?
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
Yes it is
genetic-orange•2y ago
Okay I'd assume hyprland issue then
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
But I have notice artifacts on amd

Mhm
To answer your original question btw, you can just
sudo pacman -Syu
to update nvidia driversextended-salmonOP•2y ago
I have try to communicate with hyprland help server and I haven't got reply
I have tried that
I got a suggestion in hyprland server that I should put my Nvidia gpu on performance mode that will fix it
But also didn't work
I manage to fix
you are right it was amd and hyprland thing
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
wait, do you mean that you switched off of hyprland and now it works?
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
YA
gradual-turquoise•2y ago
Glad it's working!
extended-salmonOP•2y ago
I talk to the custom provider of my hyprland land
There was script thing that was cosing that
