Uncaught Exception occured! error
everytime that i try booting up a game (in my case fortnite) i get this error and the game doesnt boot up even if it's saying that it's starting.

are you using a modified version of windows? try installing powershell https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/scripting/install/installing-powershell-on-windows?view=powershell-7.3

PowerShell usually comes with Windows, so it being missing would mean someone removed/disabled it

and the fact is that i can open powershell
it just isnt recognised by the cmd
but how can i fix?
I assume you're using Windows Search/the Start Menu to find it? Could you right-click the entry, then click "Open file location"? That should show you where the executable is located

you should have the PATH env variable (it's a list of directories), you have to edit it and add the new directory

You probably want to add that path into the lower of the two sections here (the "System environment variables" one)

i cant play it on the heroic games launcher
i installed the hgl because it consumes less ram

but what do you mean you can't play it? Fortnite should work on windows with Heroic, if it's not working there's a problem that can probably be fixed
fortnite does not work with heroic only on linux and mac, but should work on windows

have you tried repairing the game in heroic? not sure what's the issue (I don't even have windows), I just know fortnite is supposed to work there with heroic too

in the game page in heroic, click the 3 dots menu next to the game title > verify and repair
