With the buttons and pockets, I’m mainly looking for yellow jackets like this one but it’s 250usd……

That's somewhere between a chore jacket and a safari jacket, but closer to a chore. What part of the design do you like?
Chore jackets would have the 4 pockets, but buttons on all four are unusual. Safari jackets have hte four pockets with buttons but are usually belted and in more traditional fabrics.

The usual suspects for chores are old school brands like Vetra, Arpenteur etc. because it's a traditional french design.

At your budget you're looking at new fast fashion or used and workwear stuff like chores age really well
they look better beaten up a little
so used is perfect
For yellow you'll have fewer choices than stuff like duck canvas, denim or blue
blue would be the OG for french chore jackets

You can still get the saffron coloured one, but it’s a more muted colour and made out wool instead cotton.
I got one from banana Republic. It only has chest pockets. I think I paid $60 . It was $100. I've only tried it on once
