Module for Alignment System supplement
Short Description: I am looking for someone to aid me in developing a module for an Alignment System supplement that I developed and sell on DM's Layer "Echoes of Ethos". A brief description of it would be for you to think of the karma system in said name video game you can think up, but directed towards TTRPG's (Primarily 5e)
Long Description: Hello, I'm looking for someone that can aid me in developing a module for an Alignment System supplement I developed "Echoes of Ethos". I would like for this module to be relatively system agnostic, however I understand that may not be possible due to the innate intricacies of every system on the platform. That said, this module is primarily aimed at 5e as it is the system I mostly use myself. This alignment system I developed has a bit of a homage to the honor system from 3.5 but was initially inspired by the morality system from the fable games (Fable 1 & 2 mainly). Since this module relates to the honor system that was somewhat ported into 5e, I figured we could piggyback off of the system's "optional rule" and work from there in filling in the rest of the background information that would be needed to make this work.
A brief background of the supplement on how it works- The decisions every player makes for their character can and will affect the player's morality. A GM can grant positive or negative Morality Points (MP) to a player for the actions and intentions they choose to make in the game. Due to the MP being given out throughout the session a character's morality/alignment isn't a static system, it's ever changing and fluctuates just as you or I would in real life. Every character starts out with 0 MP and can gain up to +/-500 on the standard system and +/-1000 with the optional rules. Now these points aren't just for show as the higher you go in either direction come with buffs and debuffs for your character. There is an additional optional rule that would implement a "Visible Morality" system where a character's morality is shown on the outside, giving off physical alterations to the body and the potential of "mini" regional effects that alter the immediate area around a character.
Budget: Being that this is my first module I am commissioning and unsure of the amount of hours it will take to finalize this project, I would estimate my budget be around $240-360. I will say that I don't get paid until the 30th so I can understand if you wouldn't want to start working on the project until you receive some kind of compensation for taking on the project. That said, since this is a fairly pricy endeavor for me I am only willing to pay $90 upfront and the rest of the amount of the hours worked once the project is finished.
Additional Info: Since you will be working on this module for me, it comes without needing to ask that I will provide you with a free version of the Alignment System supplement for free so that you can really dig into how it works. for any and all other information you may need, please feel free to Ping me in the comments of this post or DM me.
Posted in the first comment is the cover page for the supplement mentioned above.
