Boot Selection

I'm currently looking between two boots, but the only thing holding me back from picking Taft is the quality difference. I know that Meermin shoes are at a good quality to price ratio, but finding more recent Taft reviews proved annoying. I'd love to hear some input from anyone who's had Taft's shoes. https://taftclothing.com/products/the-paris-in-black-floral?variant=31741607247941 https://meermin.com/products/101499-black-calf-e

Here it is our elegant and minimal version of the classic Jodhpur boot is now back. A very proportioned pattern, that suits the HIRO last perfectly; A classic combination not to round, but not to elongated either. It is the must have for Todays Gentleman. This time made in our Black boxcalf. A beautiful French calfskin

Taft’s shoes are of a fine quality for the price, though I find meermins spark a bit more joy. Taft’s Spain manufacturer is Bespoke Factory Group, which does pretty solid work at a relatively low price. On sale, if they’re what you want, then they’re worthwhile.

These are completely different boots. Do you like the floral detailing? Do you like lace ups or jodhpurs?

I personally can’t imagine being caught between these two pairs because they’re so different I think the proportions of the meermins are much better though
