All games or just specific once? If it is with all games provide a heroic log after you added a game to steam. We might see the error why it is not downloading the images

Little old not sure if you still need help, but an alternate idea is installing steamgriddb from decky loader. It lets you change the artwork of any game

The log would still be interesting. I want to see the problem so i can fix it.
Because we have images from steamdb or the native ones.
