Game will launch from Heroic, but not from Steam
I’m having a problem where Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will launch from the Heroic App, but the game will not launch when loaded from steam.
I used heroic to create the steam “shortcut” to the app, and I’ve tried running it with both proton-experimental and the latest proton-ge release.
I’ve tried removing and recreating the shortcut, rebooting the deck, and running it in both desktop and gaming mode.
Is there anything else I can try before attempting a reinstall?

Found a solution!
I reinstalled the game, opting to delete the prefix and all stored user data. After reinstalling and regenerating the steam shortcut via heroic, the game started working again.
