I’ve been trying to gift experiences lately rather than physical items to prioritize family memories. Last year I did ski lessons for my fam since nobody had gone before (closer to $150/pp). This year I’m going to pay for an escape room + lunch afterwards for us (closer to $75/pp). Have also done rock climbing outings

Im goin with lined leather gloves from dents
I would be so pumped to receive a drill

For a real fashion related answer, its very easy to fond a ton of vintage brooks bros stuff on ebay in the $50-$100 range. Pants, sport coats, ocbd’s, you name it. In the US the selection on ebay is massive

It’s a great gift what can I say!

I make end grain cutting boards as gifts. A lot of work, though.
honestly a lot of kitchen appliances and accessories fit in here
if they cook
If someone cooks then kitchen shit is always a great move. Another sweet gift is a fancy cast iron: https://rarecutsmeat.com/products/finex-cast-iron-skillet?

I got my wife a Patagonia Nano Puff for her birthday. For someone who gets cold a lot, it's great because it's quite warm, but packs into its own pocket and fits in a purse. Here's the men's version: https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-nano-puff-jacket/84212-NVGN.html
I'm sorry but this defeats the whole idea of cast iron for me lol
I’m rocking Lodge myself, but I got one of these for my little bro when he got married and it’s one of his favorite things
The whole idea is they are dirt cheap and indestructible, if you wanna blow money on a pan get em a copper pan imo (different use case from cast iron tbf)
or carbon steel
I think if you’re buying a gift though the logical aspect kinda goes out the window. Copper cookware is a sick gift too
at least until they get an induction stove lol
I’ve thrifted all of my Griswolds for like a few dollars, expensive cast iron seems crazy

I’ll add a rule here that it isn’t something that’s like “gadgety”
Electric Vegetable peelers are not the gift that relative you aren’t sure how is related thinks it is
