Big coat sizing
Big coat owners, I’d like your help!
I found a second hand balmacaan online which I like but wondering if it’d fit me.
I’m ~176cm tall, chest size is 96cm.
The coat is 113cm long, its chest width is 62cm. It’s a 50 tag size.
Lengthwise, I think it’d end right below my knees.
I have a Barbour Beaufort with a 60cm chest width, it’s quite roomy on me, I’m attaching some pics. (Length of the barbour is 82cm)
I think length and width might be okay (?)
What I’m confused about is the sleeve length measurement from pit. Seller said it’s 41cm. That sounds very short to me. This Barbour’s same measurement is 49cm. I have a tweed jacket which has 41cm. The barbour’s sleeves could be shorter actually, but not by 8cm. Could this difference be because of differently cut armholes? The balmacaan’s sleeves don’t look very short in the pictures, but it’s hard to judge.
So, do the measurements sound like they’d fit? Is this a weird question? I’m sorry if it is
