How fast did you lose?

Curious. How fast did you lose? I’ve been on Wegovy .25 for 4 weeks and have only lost 5 pounds. I’m seeing big losses in others and feel like I’m not having the same results.
Solution:
The meds take time to work and get into your system. It also depends on what you are doing to aid the medication. Are you eating in a calorie deficit? Are you adding physical activity into your routine. All of these things impact your body as well. It’s more than likely just the medication getting into your system though. I started off the same and it took real effort on my part and sticking to the plan before I saw “big results”. It’s all about perspective too and not comparing yourself in the end. It’s five pounds you no longer have to carry around so a win is a win. Congratulations 🍾...

I’ve basically cut bread bc it makes me too full and stopped diet drinks and replaced with water. Lots of water. No sweets. I don’t crave them anymore. No exercise yet. Just normal on the go activity. It’s easier to make good choices because I’m not starving all the time… i thought I’d see it just slide right off with my prior habits being so bad. Just a little discouraged when i get on the scale. I haven’t gained so that’s good. I’ll take the 5 🎉

I felt the exact same way and followed a similar process in the beginning. Once I started tracking I realize I was still over eating by a lot and the choices I was making were still calorically dense and not protein forward so it was a change I still had to make and that took some time to fine tune. For reference prior to ozempic I could eat anywhere from 4000-6000 calories in a single day. When I started taking ozempic. I dropped to around 3500-4500 calories per day. I wasn’t eating a lot of volume but the calories were extremely dense. I just started making swaps on my everyday item, I still eat bread and carbs but in moderation now and my protein is always my priority.
