guick one: Animated PFP on Codepen?
i tried all animation supported formats: apng, gif, webp, png, jpg. at the end it still converts back to static image.. welp xd

Why not just use a video ? They are more performant than gifs anyway
like, on codepen? well, video doesn't have the alpha layer that id like to add afterwards..
How do you want to implement transparency?
well apng does allow it,
