We keep getting locked out of our server. We restart the server, and then it locks out shortly again after that.
What do you mean by “locks out”?
This was not an issue yesterday, or all morning.
Our server stops communicating.

Are you sure it's not on your end? We're not reaching our server, we're getting a railway message
Railway is not experiencing any incidents right now. This is an issue solely with your project. We can help you troubleshoot, but this is not an issue on Railways end

And like magic, everything works again. That's ridiculous.
Were we throttled by railway? At 1:46pm EST our CPU spikes to 1CPU and flatlines at 1CPU for several minutes. This was the start of our outages.
you're on the pro plan, your app can use up to 32 vcpu, but when you say capped at 1 vcpu it makes me think you're running a single threaded application and its soft locking
for clarity sake, railway does not have any throttling of this sort, these are almost certainly issues with your app

It doesn't make sense. Nothing changed. And after an hour our application magically works again.
you saw increased load and your app crashed / soft locked, thats over and now the apps back, perfectly normal behaviour if this is a single threaded app
That's not the case, we have 2 servers, 1 specifically for staff only, it never experiences heavy load.
I'm sorry but railway doesn't limit any account type to anything under what they advertise
Is your post not about your app recieving a lot of activity (live event) and becoming unresponsive? This sounds like a case when your app is softlocking as Brody described
