KSo good news, this is definitely not affecting us
KAs far as I know that actually never worked, maybe briefly for a moment thanks to LibEI (which as implemented is basically useless)
KThe root problem is steam uses xtest to simulate inputs which does not work in Wayland
KLibei supports emulating that, but it has a completely broken permission model that makes it unusable, and I believe was removed at the request of valve due to breaking things
KSince we ship extest as a replacement for xtest we just have functioning Wayland without LibEI getting in the way
KAnd that's automatically applied to both desktop and deck images
KGranted I believe Garrett is using the flatpak which we cannot support

WIdk if you can notice since it's night here, but from left to right are Wayland x11 win11, to me win11 is the most sharp, second is Wayland, third x11
