unusual billing

I made my first payment for hosting service on the 31st of August this year, which was to expire 31st of September. I couldn't renew my subscription because of debit card problems, so on the first week of September my hosting service was disconnected.  However I just made another payment today December 18th ,but I am still been told am owing for October and November. Am confused cause am I supposed to pay for a service that was disconnected. Please I need urgent correction of the billing so I can proceed with my hosting thanks .

I recommend you email billing@railway.app from the email you use on Railway

@Gisi as was said, you should email the billing email, but yes, the $5 that you were billed for those months is for the subscription of using the service. That payment would still be due in most cases

Given that you didn't cancel your subscription, I agree. Seems like you just assumed that since you didn't pay you would stop being charged
