with bg3 if you use winetricks through heroic to install dotnet472 it installs all 4.x and breaks
"Installed components:remove_mono internal, remove_mono internal, remove_mono internal, remove_mono internal, remove_mono internal, remove_mono internal, winxp, dotnet40, dotnet45, dotnet46, dotnet461, dotnet462, dotnet472" is the result and this prevents bg3 from running eventually and is just not ideal. maybe it is only my system tho. Arch based Geruda Linux 6.6.6.zen kernal with KDE. I also "ran wineticks GUI" once before this. we just tell winetricks to install the package you pick, if winetricks is installing all that then it's how winetricks is configured (it does the same for me), there's nothing we can do, it's just how winetricks works
if you don't want all that you can download the dotnet installer from the internet and execute it with
Run EXE in prefix (though I don't know if that would be correct, there's probably a reason why winetricks runs all the other things too)
