That seems to be too generic of a YT search. Do you have a link by chance?

every single video has pretty much 95% of what you need was way better than when i bought the paid course grokking the system design interview keep in mind, i actually built the services as they explained them too as it really helped with the practical applications plus tradeoffs

when designing a metadata service how would you know the pros/cons of deploying one using central registry vs gossip protocol? play around with zookeeper... .etcd.... consul... every single slide i would recommend building it yourself so you undrestand the breadth of each tech + you can explain very easily to an interviewer the types of tech used when describing systems

Very cool. Maybe this will help me fake my way to a principal engineer role someday 😂. @totaldev what is/was your title or level at your w2s, if that's not too much to share?

Both staff SWE I got promoted recently at faang

Congrats! Staff is under principal, right? I don't understand these weird ass titles. Staff being higher than senior is so odd

staff > prinicpal > distinguished

Distinguished being the highest? Your arrows could be interpreted as "greater than" 😆

FWIW, I’ve seen Staff and Principal be the same level depending on the company. EragonArya’s sequence is most common though.
