Chants of Sennaar on Steam Deck - playing below native resolution

Just bought Chants of Sennaar on Epic Games to play on my Steam Deck, and the game only launches in 800x450 resolution, well below the Steam Deck’s native capabilities. The game runs at native dimensions on the Steam demo version, so clearly an issue with the version of the game launching from Epic in particular Have tried forcing native res on Steam Deck game settings, running Wine-GE-Proton7-43 (any newer version won’t launch the game at all).

checked both auto install checkboxes on heroic, still having the same issue :/

send a new log and you should also update your wine-ge it's pretty old

any version 8 or newer won’t even launch the game, unfortunately

swapchain is 1280x800 too i think your game is working fine

makes me wonder if it’s specifically an issue for the epic games version of the game
